Ski jumps: Iraschko-Stolz wins second event in Ljubno
Iraschko Stolz, who was placed fourth after the first run, landed at 95 metres in the second run to equalise the record of the Savina Ski Jumping Centre, set by Sarah Hendrickson of the US in 2012.
"I always have special feelings in Ljubno. I had a number of wins here. But I don't like the new jumping hill, I had a lot of problems yesterday. Today I made a big step forward," the winner told reporters.
Vtič, who won the first event on Saturday, improved the record by a half a metre but failed to beat the Austrian in points, finishing 4.3 points behind.
"I'm very happy with today's competition. The second jump was excellent. It did not seem at the beginning that I will get a podium finish again. Another second place, which is great," said the 28-year-old Slovenian.
The overall leader in the World Cup, Japan's Sara Takanashi, had to settle for the fourth place.
Slovenia's Špela Rogelj, who finished third in Saturday's event, was fifth (88.5 and 89.5 metres for 250.6 points). Five Slovenians finished among the top 12.
