Sovereign Holding offloading minor stakes in dozen companies
The call involves minor state stakes in companies such as telecoms operator Telemach (0.03%), car dealership A-Cosmos (0.81%) and builder Gradis skupina G (1.36%), and a handful of smaller firms.
Stakes of just under 50% are for sale in local heating utilities Ekoen, Energetika Črnomelj and Toplotna oskrba Loče.
All the stakes for sale have book values of well under a million euros, except for a 19% holding in the company managing the Idrija elderly home, which is valued at EUR 1.6m.
Given that the majority of the companies have consolidated ownership, they are likely to be attractive only to existing owners or persons affiliated with them.
Bids are due by 29 April.
The stakes for sale are among the 33 designated for privatisation under the plan confirmed by the government in December 2015.
Only the sale of a single company on that list, flag carrier Adria Airways, has been finalised so far, while several other privatisation procedures are at various stages.
