Pipistrel gets license to sell aircraft in almost 150 countries
The company spent six years and EUR 2.5m on obtaining the certificate, having to submit more than 17,000 documents, Pipistrel boss Ivo Boscarol commented on the news that came from the aviation fair in Friederichafen.
He announced that while Pipistrel had been growing at a rate of 10-20% in the last five years, revenue could more than double each year now.
Moreover, the company will receive next week a visit by a high-profile Chinese delegation that will hand to Pipistrel a license to sell its aircraft on the Chinese market.
