Marche took over Petrol's roadside restaurants in 2005, but Petrol retained its 25% stake in the joint venture.

Now Petrol decided to exit Marche Gostinstvo to "focus on its core business", the company said in a press release on Thursday.

Marche Gostinstvo currently operates 17 restaurants in Slovenia and posted sales of EUR 11.3m last year.
