Apart from competitors from the near-by countries, riders from Russia, Brazil and New Zealand will also compete.

The main event of the four-day competitions will be Sunday's grand finale, which is expected to feature some of the best competitors that have already achieved top results in Lipica in the past.

"I am extremely happy that 75 riders will take part in this year's competition, which is almost 40% more than last year... This shows that the Lipica stud farm's good work and promotion pays off also in equestrian sports," said the farm's acting head, Boštjan Bizjak.
