According to the data, Slovenian tourists made up for some 3.9 million private trips and 9.3 million private one-day trips last year.

Private travel lasted 4.9 overnight stays on average, 63% were made abroad, while 37% were domestic. Daily costs per tourist amounted to EUR 46 for trips made abroad and EUR 35 for domestic trips.

Additionally, 520,000 business or student trips were made, 84% abroad and 16% domestic. These trips lasted 3.5 overnight stays on average and daily costs totalled EUR 172 for trips abroad and EUR 88 for domestic stays.
