The stops scheduled include a dairy, a winery as well as Slovenia's biggest honey product maker Medex.

Chen will visit today in the company of Agriculture Ministry State Secretary Tanja Strniša the Planika dairy, the Kobarid dairy industry museum and the Goriška Brda winery.

On Monday the Chinese official will be received by Agriculture, Forestry and Food Minister Dejan Židan.

Moreover, Strniša and Chan will chair the first meeting a task group for cooperation between the two countries' agriculture ministries. The visit of Medex is planned in the afternoon.

The Chinese market has so far opened for Slovenian producers in the field of milk and dairy products. At the beginning of June dairies Ljubljanske mlekarne, Mlekarna Celeia, Pomurske mlekarne and Mlekarna Planika got the final permit to register for exports to China.
