Ljubljana – As many as 1,116 new coronavirus infections were recorded in Slovenia on Saturday, down 24% from a week ago, the figures released on Sunday by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) show. The 7-day average of new cases dropped by 51 to 1,800 in a day and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 population by 53 to 1,390.
