The company is to invest in a new paint shop and upgrade its infrastructure.

The incentive for the company, which is in 100% foreign ownership, is in line with the act on the promotion of foreign direct investment, the Government Communication Office said after Thursday's government session.

The government expects the investment to have multiple positive effects, including bring in EUR 760,000 in taxes on wages in the next three years. The total external effects of the investment project in Slovenia are to top EUR 4m.

CEO Matjaž Omladič told the STA that the construction of the paint shop should start in December, while the investments in existing infrastructure would include HVAC system upgrades.

The project is expected to be concluded by the end of next December.

The Žalec-based company, currently employing some 770 people, manufactures wooden interior trim for luxury cars.
