Nicelabel - Euro Plus wins Gazelle award

The parent company of the NiceLabel group, NiceLabel - Euro Plus exports 98% of its products and services that enable professional designing and printing of barcode and RFID labels.

The company provides its solutions to more than a million users in more than 100 countries, including to global corporations such as Ikea, H&M, Benetton, Nestle, Siemens, Swatch and FedEx, according to Dnevnik.

The parent company employs 65 staff in Slovenia, while the NiceLabel group employs 109 people globally. Its revenues last year totalled EUR 8.2m, an increase of 46% from the year before.

Speaking to the STA after the award ceremony in Ljubljana on Wednesday, the company's boss Matej Košmrlj said they understood the accolade as a confirmation and encouragement to continue on their path.

"Our goals remain high, to continue to grow and to follow good business practices by seeing to the well-being of our clients and employees," said Košmrlj.

The Silver Gazelle went to Rem of Trebnje, which specialises in modular buildings, mobile homes and residential containers. It has recently almost doubled its production capacities and expanded on its headcount.

The Bronze Gazelle went to RLS, a maker of rotary and linear motion sensors, which won the Golden Gazelle last year. It generated EUR 14.6m in revenue last year and currently employs a workforce of 115.

The award ceremony was addressed by PM Miro Cerar, who described Gazelles as role models that motivated young people into following their example.

He underscored the value of fast-growing companies, which he said represented 3.6% of all companies in Slovenia, employed 22% of the workforce in the corporate sector and generated 28% of all net revenue and 29% of the value added.
