She succeeds Brent Hartley, a career diplomat who served in Ljubljana between February 2015 and July 2018.

Hennis, a career diplomat who has previously served as the Dutch ambassador to Austria and permanent representative to the UN in Vienna as well as the consul-general of the Netherlands in Turkey, will also be based in Ljubljana.

Roldán Barillas and Chitnhothinh are non-residential ambassadors.
