The Filmogram exhibition juxtaposes film and photography in a manner that cancels the established reading and comprehension of the first medium through the prism of the narrative and the second medium through the prism of fine art. On one hand, cinematic narrative is based on the visual idiom, and - vice versa - photo images are based on stories. The Filmogram images are photograms obtained by way of freezing and photos defrosted through narrative. Filmogram spotlights the works of Slovenian filmmakers and photographers who consciously make use of this thrilling and intrinsic interplay of film and photography to enrich or even construct their artistic expression.
