Dubai - The Slovenian pavilion at the Dubai Expo will host three business delegations in January, coming from the fields of logistics, travel, connectivity and mobility, and sustainable development and timber. The delegations will include a number of representatives of Slovenian companies, local communities and state institutions.

The business delegation from the field of logistics will be in Dubai between 9 and 14 January, the travel and mobility delegation will hold its presentations between 12 and 16 January, while timber as a sustainable material of the future will be presented between 16 and 21 January.

The delegations will hold a number of events, including business conferences and various formal and informal meetings with potential partners.

The Expo in Dubai started on 1 October last year with 192 countries participating, the most in the history of the World Expo, and will close at the end of March this year.

Slovenia is presenting itself to the global public as a sustainable, modern and creative country, with a combination of a green environment, knowledge, breakthrough ideas, innovations, and a value-added economy.

The purpose of participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai is to place Slovenia on the world map as a sustainable, high-tech and innovative country, and to promote the Slovenian economy and its products.
