Ljubljana - A total of 2,373 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Thursday, 15% fewer than the figure reported a week ago. Six patients with Covid-19 died, Health Ministry data shows.

Hospital figures remain stable with a total of 191 patients treated for Covid-19 in hospitals this morning, including 35 in intensive care.

According to the National Institute of Public Health, the 7-day average of new cases dropped by a further 72 from the day before to 2,529 and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 of the population declined by an additional 29 to 1,809.

The estimated number of active cases has fallen to 38,192.

A total of 1,364 PCR tests and 10,915 rapid antigen tests were performed on Thursday.
