Ljubljana - A total of 747 new coronavirus cases were logged in Slovenia on Friday, a 27% decrease over a week ago. Three patients died. The National Institute of Public Health estimates that there are now just over 11,400 active cases in the country, a daily drop of 306.

Health Ministry data shows that there are 188 persons infected with coronavirus in hospitals on Saturday, of whom 20 in intensive care.

The figures include patients hospitalised due to Covid-19 and those who are infected with coronavirus but were hospitalised for different reasons.

The 7-day average of new cases posted a daily drop of 31 to 755 and the 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people fell by 15 to 539.
