Ljubljana - The number of new coronavirus infections in Slovenia rose by almost 16% over the week before to hit 332 on Wednesday. Hospitalisations remain stable and no deaths were reported.

According to the Health Ministry, 22 patients were in hospital for Covid yesterday, and another four in intensive care.

The number of active cases in the country is estimated at 3,572.

The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 of the population is at 167, the same as the day before, and the 7-day average of cases is at 261, up by seven in daily comparison.
