New coronavirus cases hit three-month high
Ljubljana - Slovenia reported 2,365 cases of coronavirus for Monday, the highest figure in three months, and 29% more than the same day a week ago. One patient with Covid-19 died, according to the Health Ministry.
A total of 49 patients with Covid-19 as their main condition were in hospitals on Monday, including eight in intensive care. The overall figure dropped by four from Sunday.
The seven-day average of new daily cases has risen to 1,308, up by 79 from the previous day, and the 14-day case notification rate per 100,000 of the population rose to 749, up by 55, according to the National Institute of Public Health with an estimated 15,885 people now actively infected.
