Ljubljana - A total of 1,336 new coronavirus cases were logged in Slovenia on Thursday in what is a 4% decrease week-on-week. Four patients with Covid-19 died, while hospitalisation remained flat on a daily basis, show the latest figures released by the Health Ministry.

Ninety patients required hospital treatment for Covid-19 yesterday, the same number as on Wednesday, with the number of intensive care patients dropping by one to ten.

Fresh data from the National Institute of Public Health shows that the 14-day incidence per 100,000 of the population has increased by 13 in a week to 897, as the 7-day case average rose by more than 100 to 1,253.

Currently, there are 18,962 active cases in the country, which is 29 fewer than yesterday.
