Ljubljana - Slovenia reported 2,386 new cases of coronavirus for Wednesday, down marginally over the week before, as the overall situation remained broadly unchanged despite an uptick in hospital figures. One person with Covid-19 died.

A total of 76 patients were in hospital yesterday with Covid-19 as their main condition, which is ten more than the day before but still less than on the weekend. Nine were in intensive care, up by one.

The averages remain broadly flat as well with the seven-day average of daily cases at 2,033 and the 14-day case notification rate per 100,000 population at 1,312.

It is estimated there are currently just under 28,000 active cases.
