The Italian team started stronger in third quarter, taking lead 44:47, but Olimpija responded quickly and caught up. However, they were not strong enough to maintain an advantage until the end of the third quarter that ended 59:62.

The game was decided only in the last minutes. It came down to national team player Jaka Blažič to get Olimpija on par, while Dylan Page scored two consecutive three-pointers and was rewarded with a laud cheer from the spectators.
