The film is expected to attract ten million viewers in India and could make Slovenia a popular destination of Indian tourists, as they like to visit the sites they had seen on the screen, the Slovenian production partner RTA said.

Switzerland has become a popular destination for Indian tourists after it was shown in Bollywood films, the RTA explained.

After the film crew returned home, newspaper The Times of India reportedly wrote how beautiful and safe Slovenia was.

"Naayak", directed by Veera Venkata Vinayak, was also shot in Calcutta, Dubai and Iceland.
