Ligety Wins Giant Slalom in Kranjska Gora
Ligety, whose first place today was his fifth victory on the slopes of Kranjska Gora, said the top podium result enabled him to relax a bit ahead of the World Cup finals in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
The Kranjska Gora races, collectively called the Vitranc Cup, are among the mainstays of the World Cup circuit and have been organised since 1961.
The Vitranc Cup will continue with a slalom event on Sunday. The first run starts at 9:30 AM and the second run at 12:30 PM.
