Will Slovenia Get Minority Government?
Pirc Musar confirmed the meeting with Bratušek in a written statement saying that the PM-designate wanted to test her readiness to help with the new government.
"I was surprised at the invitation, but I think everyone who can contribute to resolving this country's problems should do it. If not now, then when," said Pirc Musar, who will take a few days to decide.
Pirc Musar is reportedly being invited to head the Interior and Public Administration Ministry, a post that was supposedly offered to the DL.
The news comes after the Social Democrats (SD) said Bratušek should seek a minority government in case the DL decided to stay out.
Without the DL, the Positive Slovenia (PS), SD and Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) would have 42 MPs in the 90-member National Assembly, but unofficially they are also counting on the votes of the three unaffiliated MPs.
