Pahor officially filed his proposal today after Jazbec finished his presentations and interviews with all the deputy groups.

The National Assembly is to take a vote on the appointment of the successor of Marko Kranjec, whose term as central bank boss ends in mid-July, at its next plenary.

With support already expressed by most parliamentary parties, including the biggest two - Positive Slovenia (PS) and the Democrats (SDS) -, Jazbec has already secured the necessary absolute majority in the 90-member National Assembly.
