Erjavec revealed what the pair agreed in today's informal meeting as he commented on the issue of Yugoslav-era savings deposits with the defunct Slovenian bank on the sidelines of a session of EU foreign ministers.

He added that it was also agreed with Pusić that the two experts who have been dealing with the problem - Slovenia's France Arhar and Croatia's Zdravko Rogić - would meet again and that the succession process should continue.

"We wish that the matter starts being dealt with as soon as possible at the place where it belongs," Erjavec said.

As regards the uncertainty about court cases related to the LB issue being put on hold in line with the recent memorandum agreement between the two countries, Pusić assured the press that the Croatian government had issued instructions to this effect.
