Meh will succeed Janez Kraker, who was in April dismissed in a vote of confidence over allegedly dodgy plans to sell real estate and the use chamber's chauffeur for private purposes.

After Meh's election, OZS president Alojz Kovšca announced he would would be stepping down in June, citing inability to cooperate with the new management board which was proposed by Meh today.

Kovšča was elected president in November 2012 after the previous leadership lost a vote of confidence over excessive remuneration and golden handshake paid to the former secretary general.
