BSH Nazarje Europe's Biggest Small Home Appliance Plan

The Slovenian plant is one of the fastest growing plants in the Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte (BSH) group, a joint venture between Bosch and Siemens. BSH bought the Nazarje plant in 1993 as it took over production of small electric appliances from the Slovenian household appliance manufacturer Gorenje.
Since then BSH Hišni aparti expanded into one of the biggest Slovenian exporters. It is also the main manufacturer of hot beverage makers Bosch Tassimo and has just put out the ten-millionth piece together with the plant in China, according to a press release from the company.
BSH Hišni generated EUR 316.82m in revenue and over EUR 30m in net profit last year. The company plans to pursue growth also in the future, but the owners also call on Slovenia keep labour costs in check to remain competitive compared to east European countries and China.
