"The decision to chose Dimitrij Piciga was unanimous and did not even need much thought," Furlan said, adding that "Hit needs...new perspective, it must become innovative and...the chosen candidate will not have much trouble putting all this together."

Piciga's five-year term began today, however, the make-up of the rest of the management board remains unknown, as Piciga said the members still need to make arrangements with their current employers.

Nevertheless, the management is to be complete by 15 September at the latest, according to Piciga.

Piciga was appointed as a transitional chairman for six months in mid-March, when the supervisors dismissed the entire management of Drago Podobnik.

He was now chosen for a full term at the helm of the gaming company among ten candidates who applied for the post.
