The deliberations running under the title of "A Changing Europe in a Changing World" will see the attendance of Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek, President Borut Pahor, Austrian President Heinz Fischer, Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta as well as 17 ministers and multiple high representatives of international organisations.

The proceedings got under way on Sunday with the Young Bled Strategic Forum, which brings decision-makers of the future to Bled to discuss issues facing young people, and will continue with the Business BSF on Monday.

The main part of the forum will get under way Monday afternoon with an opening ceremony featuring addresses by Bratušek and Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec, to be followed by the main panels.

As the forum is also an opportunity for bilateral meetings, Austrian President Fischer combined it with his official visit to Slovenia, whereas Italian PM Letta will meet with PM Alenka Bratušek for bilatearl talks, chiefly on a controversial gas terminal planned by Italy just off the coast with Slovenia.

On the last day of the forum, FM Erjavec will hold a news conference at 11:15 AM.
