President Pahor Meets Libyan, Chilean Presidents
The meeting with Libyan President Nouri Ali Abusahmain focused on the re-establishment of political as well as diplomatic ties between the two countries, Pahor's office said.
Pahor expressed the wish that Libya complete the ratification of the bilateral agreement on economic cooperation, which had been signed in Slovenia in 2010, in order to facilitate trade.
He also called for the signing of an accord on the avoidance of double taxation.
The Slovenian president also held talks with Chilean counterpart Sebastian Pinera Echenique, with the pair agreeing that foreign ministers would exchange visits in 2014.
Later today Pahor is expected to hold talks with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
