The event will kick off Tuesday with a series of events dedicated to industry professionals, followed by an award ceremony in the evening. It will open to the general public on Wednesday.

Aside from the book exhibition, the fair will revolve around Debate Caffes, a series of talks with authors and publishing professionals organised Wednesday through Sunday.

Debates will also be at the centre of the Publishing Academy, a lecture series featuring publishers from small countries sharing their experience on how to survive on small markets.

For the casual visitors, there will be talks with authors and book signings as part of the segment Forum for the Visitors.

While the book fair has been proclaiming its loyalty to paper books, e-books will get a slice of attention in a newly designated "e-zone" featuring the makers of e-readers EPL and Samsung and a selection of e-books to try out.
