The release also said that all members of the Slovenian contingent in Afghanistan were feeling fine.

Six troops were involved in Monday's incident, which was reported immediately to Defence Minister Roman Jakič, who in turn notified President Borut Pahor as the supreme commander of the country's armed forces and PM Alenka Bratušek.

More details about the incident should be known later today.

The 20th Slovenian rotation, which took over as party of the ISAF force in Afghanistan in late September, numbers 33 members of various units of the Slovenian Armed Forces and two civilian experts.

The bulk of the contingent is deployed at the Arena base in Herat. Aside from advising the Afghan engineering battalion and corps command, the contingent also provides advice to police units and national logistics support.
