Telekom Slovenije Nine-Month Profit Up 7% to EUR 46.3m
The group around the telco generated EUR 63.4m in operating profit, a 2% drop compared to the same period last year, largely due to falling revenues from landline subscriptions and cheaper mobile plans.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) were down 5% to EUR 188.7m, with the share of EBITDA in net sales revenue standing at 31.5%.
The Telekom Sloveije group plans to generate EUR 50m in net profit this year, while EBITDA is expected to reach EUR 245m
The group's net financial debt has increased by 7% to EUR 370.4m since the end of last year. According to the company's representatives, this is above all the result of dividend payouts.
The number of users increased in the first nine months both in mobile and fixed broadband segments.
