Bad Bank Gets First Executive with Full Powers

Škrubej has so far been in charge of financial consultancy at Deloitte Slovenija, specializing in mergers&acquisitions and public-private partnerships.
A graduate of the Ljubljana Faculty of Economics, where he also obtained a masters' degree, he earned an MBA at Drury University in the US.
The executive directors of the bad bank, picked among 250 applicants in a job tender in July, will be appointed for a maximum of six years.
The board currently has three temporary executive directors and three Swedish non-executive directors, Arne Berggren, Lars Nyberg and Carl-Johan Lindgren.
The bad bank is expected to start mopping up soured loans from NLB, NKBM and Abanka once the results of bank stress tests are revealed on 13 December.
