As many as four Slovenians made it among the top 8 in the penultimate race before the Olympics, with Tim Mastnak managing fourth place for his career best so far. Rok Markuč was seventh and Rok Flander eight.

Third place in the men's competition went to Sylvainom Duffour from France, while Tomoka Takeuchi of Japan and Austria's Julia Dujmovits also made it to the podium in the women's race.
