Slovenia Bond Yield up Ahead of Potential Bond Issue
The yield on the benchmark bond hovered at around 4.5% for several weeks after dropping from levels close to 6% in the aftermath of the mid-December bank bailout.
The spike comes three days after the government started a series of road shows in the US and the UK drum up interest in Slovenian sovereign bonds ahead of a new dollar-denominated bond issue which media reports suggest could go ahead by the end of the month.
