Adria will operate the route every day except Saturday starting with the summer schedule, which takes effect on 30 March, the company said Thursday.

The news comes after Adria already entered talks with Klagenfurt Airport, which lies less than an hour's drive north of Ljubljana, to operate selected flight from there.

In Verona, meanwhile, Adria plans to base a Canadier CRJ200 to serve business passengers on routes to Brussels, Vienna and Zurich.

CEO Mark Anžur said late last year that plans were also afoot to service the Tirana-Frankfurt route.
