The value of construction works on buildings was down last year by 20.5% compared to 2012, while the value of works on engineering structures was up by 5.7%.

In December 2013, the value of construction works was down 17.1% over November. It was lower both for works on buildings (18.6%) and works on engineering structures (13.8%).

Compared to December 2012, the value of construction works was meanwhile up by 4.4%. It was however down by 38.3% compared to the 2010 average, according to the office.
