Gregorin, Olympic bronze medallist from Sochi, missed two standing shots to finish 3.8 seconds behind Anastasiya Kuzmina of Slovakia. Marie Habert Dorin of France was third, 8.3 seconds adrift.

Gregorin finished 13th overall in the World Cup.

With two missed shots, Fak, the only Slovenian competitor at the final event of the season, was bested by French competitor Martin Fourcade and Austrian Daniel Landertinger.

Today's winner Fourcade also won the overall World Cup, with Fak finishing in 12th place.
