The Social Democrats (SD) are projected to take third place with 10.5% of the vote, the results of the Mediana poll commissioned by public broadcaster RTVSLO found.

Besides the leading trio, the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS), the People's Party (SLS) and the Alenka Bratušek Alliance (ZaAB) would also make it into parliament getting 8.4%, 5.1% and 4.8% respectively.

Following are New Slovenia (NSi) with 3.3% of support and United Left (2.7%), the MMC news portal reported on Friday.

Getting modest support with votes ranging from one to 1.5% of support polled The Greens, the Pirate Party, Believe, the National Party (SNS) and Gregor Virant's Citizen's List.

A total of 54% of all interviewed will definitely cast their ballot in the 13 July general election and 15.2% will probably vote, while 5.6% probably will not take to the polls and 20.5% definitely will not vote.

Less than 5% remain undecided whether they will vote or not.

The phone survey was carried out among 600 Slovenian adults between 23 and 26 June.
