The 2013 drama was selected by a jury of professionals among four shortlisted films, the Association of Slovenia Filmmakers (DSFU) announced on Monday.

The other films on the short-list were Vinko Möderndorfer's social drama Inferno, Miha Hočevar's scouting comedy Gremo mi po svoje (Let's go our own way) and Tomaž Šneberger's "Izgubljen, da najden" (Lost to be found).

Seduce Me has already won several awards, including Vesna Award for best directing at the 2013 Festival of Slovenian Film and Special Mention at last year's Warsaw Film Festival.

The film portrays a group of young people, among them Luka, who on leaving a youth care home decides to find out where his father is buried. Instead, he discovers that his father is not dead at all.

Feeling betrayed, Luka finds comfort in his relationship with Ajda, a girl he has met at work and who also holds a family secret.
