Cerar will meet President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, European Parliament President Martin Schulz and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Separate meetings with Slovenian MEPs and Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc of Slovenia are also planned.

Talks with Juncker are expected to focus on the most topical EU themes at the moment: budgetary plans of eurozone members, including Slovenia, the EU's budget for next year and a EUR 300bn investment plan.

Meanwhile, the meeting at the NATO headquarters is expected to be dominated by defence spending, the implementation of the Readiness Action Plan in response to the Ukraine crisis and the question of Montenegro's membership, which Cerar is expected to back.
