Tina Maze Back on Winning Track
"I'm very happy to have taken the lead after first race and kept it after the second. I've had enough time to prepare for this slalom. The slope was excellent, I gave my best and I'm happy that I won," Maze said after the race.
This is Maze's 24st World Cup victory and her fourth in slalom.
She celebrated her most recent victory on 25 January in downhill in Italy's Cortini d'Ampezzo, raising expectations for the Sochi Olympics, where she won two gold medals in February.
Today's win ahead of the US tour places Maze third in the overall standings. Mikaela Shiffrin of the US is currently in the lead with 124 points, followed by Zettel with 110, just one point ahead of Maze.
The next World Cup race will be held in Aspen, US, on 29 November.
