Retirement Age Increasing, Still Relatively Low
In 2014 the retirement age rises by four months, to 58 years and eight months for women and 59 years for men, provided they have 39 and 40 years of contributions, respectively.
The age at which people can retire without having had the sufficient years of pensionable service increases by six months, to 62 for women and 64 years and six months for men.
In this case individuals who wish to retire must have at least 20 years of paid pension contributions.
