Croat apprehended for smuggling four Chinese

Maribor – A 47-year-old Croatian citizen has been apprehended by Slovenian police after being found smuggling four Chinese citizens unlawfully into the country in his car on Saturday.

According to a report by the Maribor Police Department, the man crossed into Slovenia from Croatia by car outside a border crossing. The vehicle was found to be carrying four Chinese citizens who did not meet the requirements to enter Slovenia.

The Croat was apprehended to be brought before an investigating judge today. After being processed, the four Chinese have been returned to Croatia, the police said.
