Ljubljana – Slovenia recorded 1,823 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, a decrease of nearly a quarter over the week before, as the Omicron-driven wave continues to slowly subside. The 14-day case notification rate per 100,000 population dropped by almost 130 to 1,447, with the seven-day daily average of new cases declining to 1,640, a decrease of 67 on the day before, show figures by the National Institute of Public Health.
