Collections of minerals, fossils, jewellery and other related products will be put on display and for sale at MineralFest, a two-day exhibition at Cankarjev Dom.

Apart from the booths put up by exhibitors from Slovenia and abroad, the event will see a wire jewellery-making workshop.

There will an exhibition called Living with Crystals, and Crystal Giants, one about the astonishing world of the largest crystals from around the globe.

Also on show will be large amethysts from Brazil and petrified wood from Madagascar, and the Slovenian fluorite, a unique crystal that also be found in Slovenia.
