Just over 5,000 new coronavirus cases logged on Culture Day

Ljubljana – A total of 5,076 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Tuesday, a public holiday. The figure is significantly below the over 11,00 cases reported for the day before or over 23,000 logged a week ago in an all-time high. According to the National Institute of Public Health, the latest tally brings the 14-day notification rate per 100,000 to 8,239, down by 588 from the day before, and the 7-day average of new daily cases to 9,862, down by 2,710. An estimated 173,691 people remain actively infected….
