Ljubljana – Slovenia reported another 3,166 coronavirus cases on Tuesday, the highest daily figure since 5 January, as 38% of the PCR tests came back positive, official data shows. Estimates by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) show the number of active cases in the country thus increased by almost 2,000 on the day before to 22,188. The 7-day case count average has risen to 1,954 and the 14-day incidence of infections per 100,000 people increased to 1,051.
