The bad bank did not reveal any details today beyond saying that it will use the money to partially cover bond payments due in mid-December and next year.

The bad bank's first bond falls due on 15 December, with principal and interest amounting to EUR 548m.

The rest of the money will probably come from management fees and proceeds from the disposal of assets, which amounted to EUR 311m in the last year and a half.
